The dress is fully lined in acetate, and it closes with a metal zipper down the back. The jacket is made out of the same material as the dress, and it is fully lined in satin. The jacket has two side pockets, and it has embroidery down the front edges and along the back of the neck. The coat closes with a single metal hook and thread eye at the throat. There are no size tags on this set, but I believe it would best fit a size Medium.
The actual measurements are as follows. 20" across the back, underarm to underarm 40" around. This measurement is somewhat flexible since the coat hangs open in the front. Shoulders: 14.5" across, seam to seam Sleeves: 21.5 from the shoulder seam to the end of the sleeve Length: 38" from the shoulder to the hem.19" across, underarm to underarm (38" around) Waist: 18.5" across (37" around) Hips: 20" across (40" around) Length: 36.5 from the shoulder to the hem. These are the actual measurements of the garment, so please leave yourself room for comfort of movement. All measurements were taken with the item laying flat. The flat measurements were doubled to give an approximate measurement around. This set is in VERY GOOD condition for its age.
I noticed just the tiniest bit of fading to the lining in the underarm area of the dress (see last picture), but this is a very minor flaw that is not visible at all when the dress is worn. The outside of the dress is just fine! I also have many other items in my store, so check out my other listings!
BY PURCHASING, YOU ARE AGREEING TO THE FOLLOWING STORE POLICIES. The items in my shop are used and may show minor signs of wear, but I will do my best to describe any flaws that I find. I go to the post office every week day, Monday - Friday. Ive had some customers get their packages in around a week, and for others, it has taken a month.
The large majority of the items in my store are vintage, and therefore pre-owned. I do my best to only put items up for sale that are in very good to excellent vintage condition, and I will list any major flaws that I notice. However, most vintage clothing has been around for several decades or more, and it may have some minor snags in the fabric, the occasional loose thread or other minimal signs of wear. Vintage items may also have raw seams that have not been serged.
By purchasing, you are accepting that these items are used and may not be 100% perfect. However, if you feel I have overlooked a major flaw, please let me know! I personally have a SMOKE FREE AND PET FREE HOME.I won't sell a piece of clothing if I notice a smoke smell on it from a previous owner. I have no way of knowing if the original owner of the clothing had pets, but I will use a lint roller to remove any fuzz or stray hair I notice.
Because most of what I sell is vintage, an item may have been in storage for quite a few years, so I always recommend you wash or dry clean your item before wearing it. If for some reason you have a problem, please CONTACT ME before leaving negative or neutral feedback, and I will do my best to help you with your concerns!
